Everyone just stood and looked at each other and shook their heads over the way he behaved," says a 22-year-old carpenter who ran into Bendtner in front of the pizzeria after a night out. [...] "He played really stupid. When he could not pay, he demanded to get free pizza and said: 'Do you not know who I am? I can buy the whole pizzeria,'" says one of the staff at Pizza House. [...] "We told him that it did not matter who he was. If he could not pay, there was no pizza," says the pizza man who does not want his name revealed. After some time, where Bendtner begged and begged the many pizzeria guests to fund his food, a couple of young girls at last took pity on the famous football player and paid about 120 kroner, which the pizza cost. GarethRDR
Also, if you're going to be a football crazy-man, at least do it right. If that was Balotelli, he would have run down the street to a supermarket, bought the ingredients for said pizza, then returned to the establishment to cook the thing for himself (all possibly whilst wearing a space helmet and riding a pig). GarethRDR
You'd be surprised. I worked with someone who used to be in debt collection, he said the funniest case he dealt with was Sinama-Pongolle during his Liverpool days. Apparently the club kept **** his wages up, so he was just living off all of the credit cards that companies were eagerly shoving into his hands. Cars, bling, nights out, he racked up so much debt but just shrugged off all the creditor's phone calls, default notices, bailiff visits and court summons right up until he was nearly forced into bankruptcy. The joke was he could pay it all off at anytime (and eventually did) but all because he couldn't be arsed to deal with it properly, he probably wound up paying out 5 times as much as he should have in charges and fees.
