TheSufferingVilla
While disappointing that we didn't get England I'm actually pleased by Ireland's group: Two huge teams and another fairly decent side should be an immense piss up regardless of the results. If you are going to the big tournament you want to be playing the big teams.

TrentVilla Posted December 2, 2011 Moderator Share Posted December 2, 2011 Question... If they are going to have people presenting this shite in English why don't they get English people? Surely it has to be better than picking a couple of people who sound like retarded robots.
The_Rev
England France 11 July England Sweden 15 July England Ukraine 19 July Ireland Croatia 10 July Ireland Spain 14 July Ireland Italy 18 July Sweden are to England what Blackburn are to Villa. packoman
I can actually see us getting results against Italy and Croatia. I know they are better teams but if we give it a go then who knows.

Because those groups were even remotely close to this one in terms of difficulty? Who gives a shit if they were remotely that difficult? They beat the great Italian side of 1994 in the group stages and people said they would never get through that stage. Upsets do happen. EDIT: I didn't mean to come across as rude there btw. villaajax
Why have we drawn the 'Group of Death' yet again? Group A looks hideously dull.
CarewsEyebrowDesigner
On the England front, Ukraine at home will be difficult, but beatable, and Rooney should (?) be back for that one. Sweden looked dire at Wembley, although in tournaments they are a bit better, but I can see England win that one. France is the difficult game, and they've improved a lot and will be looking to do something worthwhile after their WC debacle. Topping the group will be key, as you'll probably get Spain in the QF if you don't. It'll be tight, like all the groups, which is why the Euros are generally far beater than World Cups.
