Zatman
Playing better then I expected tbh although I do wonder what gear Spain are playing at. 1st gear, think if was competitive game they would be more fired up.
Dodgyknees
Problems: Johnson is shit, a crap right back who is ok going forward. Walcott - if you want a player who can kick the ball and run after it, choose him - but you'll get nothing against a top quality side. No real quality down the right. Lescott and Jagielka are too quick to get rid of the ball. Cole is the only player who looks to want to be in attack and get the ball and himself forward, Milner doing a little attacking too but with nobody around him to bounce off. The_Rev
I think Lampard is having a good game.
Dodgyknees
Actually, forgot to mention Lampard, getting himself around and making some good tackles.
VillaAlex
Lescott is defending very well in an England shirt for a change imo.
Guest av1
Given that he earns a bomb load I'm sure ill get grief for this but, fair play to fabio for even being here tonight. I wouldn't have been.
coda
Well done to Spain, they've managed to contain us during the first half.
ryanvilla_1994
Jagielka and Lescott playing really well, but it seems as if its only a matter of time before Spain score a goal

The_Rev
Have that! Great header from Bent, unlucky that Lampard ended up with the goal, but I am happy we are winning. Now lets see how we can defend...

kurtsimonw
Nearly an hour gone and Spain have had 1 shot on target. If that was Villa we'd be livid.

markavfc40
Ramos bang out of order. Had it not been a friendly he would of been sent off.
Laivasse
It's rare that I've seen England break up the opposition play this well. Our own passing is still quite poor (although improved since the 1st half) and since the goal we've shown worrying signs of wanting to sit on the edge of our own area. Ramos could have been off there. Milner's looking good :'(

ryanvilla_1994
2nd half shows how good Xavi is IMO, they have completely fell apart without him and did the same last time I saw them against Scotland.
kurtsimonw
Yeah they don't look the same without him. Some superb battling in midfield from England though.
