It makes it funnier that some people (Understudy in this case) hate him so much :D

If finding him a dickhead because he is a talented cretin with lots of money who does stupid things, is unjustified, then tell me.

As a footballer on the pitch, I like him, he's quite a player. As a man, he's a dick. And a very rich one.

>Brought iPad to bench during International friendly.

>"Even when I have had bad moments they have supported me," he said. "But I don't care what people say about me. I am focused on my football, my manager, girlfriends and my family."

>According to Mirror Football, Manchester City striker Mario Balotelli pulled a genuine Balotelli move when he taunted Wayne Rooney’s prostitute Jenny Thompson in a crowded restaurant. The genius Italian striker was said to have chanted “Rooney, Rooney” at Thompson and a companion whose complaints were met by Mario blowing a raspberry in her face.

Can we get this on the opening post or something and then add to it every time he does something to get on the list

Nothing unjustified.

It just amuses me.

He's like a real life Troll.

This is seriously some of the greatest stuff I have ever read, totally changed my opinion on the lad now. He is a batshit insane mental genius.

The list exaggerates the "because I am rich" story though. It was £5k, it was in his pocket and the police discovered it because he was asked to turn out his pockets after a crash he had on his way to training. If it can exaggerate a story that was widely reported just last year for no apparent reason then some of the other less well known stories on the list are probably bullshit.

Mario Balotelli is bat shit crazy there is no doubt about that but in an age where convicted sex attackers earn thousands a week and have a England squad pack full of scum I have to ask is Balotelli really so bad?

Sure he has done some crazy stuff both on and off the pitch but does he really do any harm? I think not. In fact in a crazy kind of way there is something refreshing about him, he refuses to conform, he refuses to do what is expected of him and he refuses to be predictable or boring.

So okay at times he goes too far but I'd take him every day of the week over any number of pieces of scum in the Premier League.

I mean how many PL footballers out there would do this?

The youngster was hanging around outside City's Carrington training ground and asked the maverick striker for his autograph, but Balotelli was more interested in why the little scamp was wagging school.

Mario Balotelli insisted on helping one boy beat a bully. (PA)

After the child told him he was being bullied, Balotelli immediately drove the boy and his mother to the school in question to give the bully a ticking off.

The Italian international then demanded to see the headmaster to make him aware of the issue, and even mediated as the two boys were sat down to resolve their differences.

A source is quoted by one paper as saying: 'Mario feels strongly about bullying and thinks it's out of order.

'He had no qualms about sorting the mess out as he felt the lad should not be missing out on school.'

Despite courting controversy on and off the pitch throughout his first season in the Premier League, Balotelli has occasionally displayed something of a Good Samaritan streak.

So as well as being hugely talented, personally for all his mistakes and bad behaviour personally I like Balotelli and everything that goes with him. He is refreshingly different in what is increasingly a bland and predictable league.
