holtelower
They say there are no easy games in the Premier League, that may be true, but what I do know is Wigan Athletic at home must be the easiest. This should be a convincing win, no matter what previous history says, 3-0. Wigan and Blackburn are currently the worst two teams in the league and given the spending of QPR and the football of Swansea , should end up being relegated along with Norwich. This should see our first 11 for the first time, I expect a midfield 5 of Petrov (holding) , Jenas (b2b) , Zoggy (wing) Gabby (wing) and then one of Ireland or Bannan (off Bent) - presumably you have to go with Bannan at the moment, even if I think we are stronger with Ireland. Tomorrow is where I really judge AMc. I have not been impressed up until now, but tomorrow I think will show where we are at. 3-0 - Bent, Gabby and Petrov. wedge
Bannan has to start providing he's fit.
PeteStan
AM saying today in his pre-match press conference that it is still probably too early for Jenas. Everyone else seems to be fit again (excepting Carlos & Lichaj of course).
chappy
No way will he drop N'Zogbia against his old club, players always play better against their old clubs imo. Didn't work out against Newcastle. If we have to drop one of Bannan or Ireland in order for Nzog to keep his place I'd rather we didn't.
VILLAFC2000
Is Carlos fit yet...?
CottenM
Call me old fashioned, but i'd love to see 4-4-2. Bannan looked like he'd be comfortable wide right too. Or N'zog. Basically bored of draws, go out to win and if we lose its that "still unbeaten" monkey off our back...
Tayls
Called; 2-1 We will come from behind to take this one. It's either that or they score late on.... Can't quite figure it out. A good win though gents - still unbeaten. Good stuff. ....Next

HolteEndRob
I think we'll win 2-0. I don't really care what the score is though as long as we win. Anything less and it will probably tip me over the edge at last! The fact that Rodellega is injured and N'Zogbia now sort of 'plays' for us gives me hope that we'll finally win a premier league game against Wigan at Villa Park! OutByEaster? Posted October 1, 2011 Moderator Share Posted October 1, 2011 I'd agree with that Pilchard. 1-1 and I suspect possibly the least attractive 1-1 we'll see for some time.
AValon
Another riveting 1-1.
DiegoD
Wigan are playing very bad at the moment, i'm expecting a 3-0 win with Gabby, Bannan to score.

CI
AM saying today in his pre-match press conference that it is still probably too early for Jenas. Everyone else seems to be fit again (excepting Carlos & Lichaj of course). Jenas was down in London yesterday seeing a specialist so can't see him featuring anytime soon. I think we can nick a point from the game 1-
