El_Hierro
Discounting Swansea I think Warnock's had a good season tbh. Against Chelsea the match before he was excellent, best I've seen of him.

AVFC-Prideofbrum
"Enda Stevens: haha yeah i was still pretty drunk doing the interview u not notice no?" Should fit nicely alongside Dunne and Collins in the back four then.

flashingqwerty Posted January 5, 2012 VT Supporter Share Posted January 5, 2012 Warnock isnt a good defender and his atacking play, especially crosses, have been woeful of late. Stevens couldnt do worse than him lets put it that way...
briny_ear
MON gets the very best out of his younger players bannan albrighton clark wouldnt be at Villa if he was still here Speculation not fact. All of them got their first senior games under MON and Bannan was given a lot of chances with loans. Why have the "persistent bashers of the ghost of MON" invaded this particular thread? It must be one of the most unlikely platforms to launch a new assault on his legacy...

dudevillaisnice
Bannan was told he had no future here as he was too small for the premier league.. he said so himself. That said what does Enda Stevens have to do with that discussion.

flashingqwerty Posted January 5, 2012 VT Supporter Share Posted January 5, 2012 why are we talking about MON's legacy and youth players in a thread about Enda Steven's who is neither a youth player nor anything to do with MON???
islingtonclaret
Can we please stop talking about Martin O'**** Neill on a page about a player who has just arrived at the club?!
Willy_Evergo
If this lad has any tackling ability, marking and positional sense he will be an asset. However, I am sure though that we can coach some of that out of him over time.

Stevens's last manager was Michael O'Neill who has just left Shamrock Rovers and taken over as Northern Ireland manager. Maybe people just got the name wrong? :winkold:

VillaRoy
Listened to the commentary of todays reserve clash earlier. Sounds like Stevens had a very good game. Very good going forward and did his defensive jobs. Another potential option at left back.
