Big night for ex-Villans in the Championship. As mentioned in another thread Bacuna scored a penalty for Reading to rescue them a point, Callum Robinson scored for Preston whilst Nathan Baker got an assist in the same game. Also Andi Weimann assisted both of Derby's goals and Samir Carruthers scored Sheffield United's 3rd as they failed to come back against Fulham.

Weimann 2 assists and a goal today, a player I always liked though he was never blessed with the talent

Think Rowett likes him and he got an assist or 2 a few weeks back

I take back what I said ;)

No doubt Liverpool's generous defence will give him every opportunity to score today.

We're talking Swansea here. You could field a defense of blind gophers and they still wouldn't bag one.

At least 80% of ex-Villans in the top two divisions would get into our current starting line up.  Discuss.

Off the top of my head:

                         Myhill

Lowton        Cahill     Baker        Stevens

Albrighton   Delph   Hogg       Milner

                            Young

                          Benteke

Subs. Bennet, Downing, Barry, Bradley, Clark, Whittingham, Weimann, Crouch, Davies

(Did not include loans like Walker or Betrand)

That team would smash our current lot.

I think a team of players released by Villa for not being good enough would smash us.

The striker who never scores.

...has scored!

Edit: Fun fact, Jordan Ayew has more goals this season than any of our strikers and is 1 goal off having scored as many as all of ours combined B)
