VillaChris
Got plenty of chances first half of 16/17 and never really convinced. Certainly wouldn't convince me if a player we deemed surplus to requirements in August was suddenly declared good enough again.

VILLAMARV
This time of year again is it? He must have the weirdest thread ever here. 20 pages of transfer talk followed by two pages of 'how did he do on loan' followed by a page of 'forgot he was even heres' and then another 20 pages of transfer talk. This year will be our year boys and girls, just like every year, no but this year will be the year you watch! He is the symptom of the utter indecisiveness of this club over the last decade imo.

Tomaszk
He can be an ok player in this league if he quickens up on the ball. Not carrying it, just moving it on in possession. He'salways looked too ponderous for us, but Forest/Barnsley fans have said he looks good at times. We can use him as a squaddie if we pass the ball. Barnsley were relegated though so hardly a glowing endorsement - I’d rather o hare and Doyle Hayes get a chance - Gardner’s had enough chances at villa

ClarentInDevon
He could.be a useful squad player. Glenn Whelan and Mile aren't getting any younger. Lansbury has failed to live up to the hype.

I think he is the opposite of Jack, big Villa fan also but looks terrified playing for us. That long shot he has is definite an asset that can be useful

A statement so correct, and so definitive, that it didn't even need a full stop. If we want to finish in the bottom half of the Championship, sure, play Gary Gardner. If we want to finish in the top half, we don't.
