I will start with 3 horror shows off the top of my head that lead directly to goals;

Vs Crystal Palace - Throwing the ball out to Amavi who was under pressure.

Vs Leicester City - Being beaten in the air by said midget

Vs Arsenal - Hoofing the ball AT Lescott

There's my contribution...

also passing to a man city player...

Season before vs Aguero right?

Either way it's all a bit moot. It's not just the big errors that are the problem. There's a perfectly valid reason he couldn't get in ahead of Mark Bunn under 4 different managers if I recall correctly. Mark Bunn.

Then there was 1-0 Swansea, doing his best to impersonate a goose!

Swansea goal was a shocker as well.

a dreadful pass to Lescott at Chelsea when we were actually in the game

Rashford goal went through him

Sunderland away he played a horrible pass to Cissokho for them to make it 3

God did we concede 3 goals to Sunderland?!? - I can't remember I've just blocked out all of last season. What a depressing disaster.

Only ever average, never a real Premier League 'keeper.  I remember his first few games, was it under MON in the Cups ?  Flapping at crosses, not commanding.  It never really changed.  I would spare him the worst criticism, but only because some players were a disgrace, whereas he was just a limited player.

What a difference a really good goalie would make, but where are they ?

His decline in performances have matched his decline in hair growth, coincidence? :detect:

This is a silly argument. You are bringing up examples when Guzan was younger and still developing as a keeper. I can say easily point out Cech's faults when he was playing in France around the same age.

Guzan definitely improved as a keeper since we signed him. No denying that.

He is better, but needed to be. His vulnerability then was clear, as it was last season and in previous seasons.  As I said, IMO he was, and is, and will be, only ever an average keeper. If you think different, fine.
