Villanun
Watching the highlights of that last Middlesbrough game, I was thinking "This Guzan performance feels very familiar..."
rodders0223
It is quite staggering how much he regressed. There was one point where I loved Brad, he was pulling out the kind of saves where you just don't expect him to make them. He was straight off his line and confidently claiming balls in the final minutes of tight games, releaving so much pressure. Then it all just went to rat shit. Maybe he grew tired and lost all motivation after the same things year after year, realising we were never going to push forward. Maybe it is all a confidence game and he was gradually dragged down along with the club. Be interesting to find out one day. Edit : Yes I watched the Chelsea game and the 3 goals went straight through him. He just had the look of a man who knew he wasn't saving them, not even doing the basics. Not reading the shots. Not reacting. Hesitant. Just falling. Tim Howardesque. Shot to bits. Edited May 15, 2017 by rodders0223
hogso
Seems to be doing alright for himself at Atlanta United. There's a tidy artice on BBC Sport today with lots of info about the club, their inaugural MLS season, and input from Braddy Guzman.
VillaChris
Made some good saves last night in their play off game, kicking was o.k aswell so looks like the move back home has re-energised him.
rodders0223
Masterclass from the Guzman tonight. No matter what league you are in, what standard you play. Class is permanent. You never lose that ability, to either find the stand with a simple kick or find the feet of the opposition attacker in your own half. Beautiful stuff. 2

To be fair to Guzan the shot does take a pretty hefty deflection which completely caught him wrong footed, Still looks rather amusing in isolation though Edited March 20, 2019 by LakotaDakota

Zatman
reading an article on most goals conceded by a Premier League goalkeeper, amazingly Guzan conceded 258 Premier League goals and he was only 1st choice for about 4 seasons. In comparison Given conceded 239 in his entire time in the top flight Ben Foster is comfortable at No.1 though pushing 450 goals conceded
