RIP "Witton Lane", former VT Poster

For me , Witton Lane along with The Wallet Inspector were the voices of boxing for VT. I never met the guy, but he will be missed. Sad times . RIP.

Sorry to be late to the topic but I must thank Rob for letting me know earlier.

Bloody gutted. Really sad and shocking news.

So long, Mike; I'm raising a glass to you as I type.

RIP Witton lane

Is anyone on here likely to go to the funeral?

Possible VT flower arrangement?

I'd throw in a couple of quid for a wreath if anybody else is interested.

I didnt know the guy irl and would have no idea about organising it, but if anybody does know him then they should set it up.

As a not really regular poster I didn't really encounter him on here or know him or anything but still sad news to lose a fellow villan so young.

RIP.

I'll hopefully be at the funeral, work permitting. I doubt he'd have wanted flowers though...not his type of thing at all

Used to chat a fair bit with him via PM but hadn't spoken to him in a while , didn't know him personally (like so many friends on here) but we shared the same warped sense of humour and the same taste in football clubs so RIP fella and if there is a heaven may it be 26 May 1982 everyday

For a self confessed mysoginist Mike has got a hell of a lot of ladies on his Facebook in tears. I'm sure he'll be impressed!
