But it's me and my taste that has shifted a little lately, I reckon. He's got a clear and well pronounced voice, not the usual pop blur / slur. Which helps me pick out the words and manage a clunky half translation or understanding of broadly what it's about. This has no printed inner sleeve, which makes me think its a second pressing but it's definitely from the era of it's release. Bought for £1.99 in Spillers (sticker is still on it), in this NM / VG+ condition it's worth £20-30 at todays prices, it used to go for a lot more a while back though I suspect the prices are rising again given the current re-release schedule Earcom 2 - a 3 band Sampler on Fast Product.(it pre-dates Factory I think, released before Fac 1 - A Factory Sampler) Basczax and Thursdays, never to be heard of again (and quite rightly so) but do some up a lot of bands on that post-punk DIY proto-indie scene but the other band some people might have heard of...Joy Division'. In very good condition (vinyl and sleeve) The Glove were a Cure / Banshees crossover project, essentially written and performed by Robert Smith & Steven Severin with additional musicians from both bands live camps and vocals by a female friend of Budgie from the Banshees It's not that valuable considering the prices Cure & Banshees stuff fetches these days, you can pick up decent copies on Discogs from £6 but this copy is more in the £15-20 bracket This was this morning before work but I forgot to post....
