About to put this on for the first time :)

There's a guy that writes some of the music reviews in The Independent, Simon Price. Over a few years his tips and observations have been near faultless (other than the f awful 'Ladytron'). Anyway, he rates these guys as being really really good. So, without having listened to a track and resisting the youtube check out, I'm off to buy a physical real copy on Friday.

HAha, Danny used to work for me as a DJ. Last time I saw him he was so up his own arse he ignored me. Grade A knobber!

I can't get into the new Tame Impaler album. I can hear they are a good band and I quite like the Elephant single but the rest of the album just doesn't do it for me really. Though, it sounds like an album you have to give a fair few listens to appreciate it, not sure whether I want to give it the effort either. There's been nothing to really grab me from what I've heard so far.

Why would you think that?

To quote the opening post of the topic...

You qualify for this thread if you've listened to more than half the album in question, you own an genuine physical specimen (or legitimate download) and aren't in your car.

If you can be arsed? - A pic and a snippet you deem proper.

The Affinity album is nice, loads of boots floating about on a few formats.

I've got the Angel Air one which is official (I think) and good.

Repertoire have pressed it twice. The more recent one is very nice, they've done good jobs with a few of the Vertigo titles over the last couple of years.

This is on here.

Yeah, mine is the Angel Air one, with a full album's worth of bonus tracks (good ones, too - not your usual "alternate [sic] quadrophonic mix of the same album" bollocks).
