If we had contacted Everton by now about Moyes you can bet your life it would be everywhere by now.

Bill Kenwright would have made sure of that .

If it was done underhandedly then he would if were going through the right channels then no chance, whether they've said deal or no deal.

arghhh benitez and mclaren were not contacted

two weeks ago Lerner approached moyes and Martinez

Moyes number 1 and Martinez number 2

Moyes always number 1. Martinez asked as backup incase moyes said no

Martinez said no. Moyes likes the idea

Everything sorted now

just be patient

Thanks for the update Mr Lerner.

Spence are you AVFC Mysteryman on Twitter?

At the moment, £2,431 has been traded on betfair on McLeish at even money!

and millions of people vote for contestants on x factor to win doesnt make them sane

true, but this is a special kind of insane, isn't it? please god...

cant name names, but have been advised of this :

McLeish is first choice but Lerner is concerned about the fans reaction. Source: inside Villa is all I'll say.

Season ticket sales matter I guess. Keep an eye on the fans forums because if they are in any way positive towards AM then he'll be signed.

so, say NO to McLeish.............you have been warned!

Things are usually quite leaky at Everton.

I think if we had contacted Everton in the right way you would have heard about it by now - and i dont mean just from a few dubious ITKs online.

all imo of course.

Moyes

Rijkaard

Hughes

Van Gaal

Would love to see any of those managing the club.

i think Rijkaard could be a disaster tbh - would be a curious one albeit.

Van Gaal is great shout.

Moyes i just cannot see happening. Would be great tho.

Hughes id be happy with and seems the glaringly obvious candidate imo. Would do well here i reckon.

Maybe McLeish has had a plan for a good while starting with his connection to MON up in Glasgow. He could've had a grudge against Martin from their Rangers Celtic days. Maybe after realising he was yet again on the rough end of the deal down here he said "Martin i want your job coz it's pants over here at St Andrews" "so do one boy else i will give ye a Glasgow kiss!" then MON decides he'd better quit so leaves.. Then McLeish thinks "Right well thats him gone, but i'd better leave it to cool off a bit so if i spend this seasonm, get SHA relegated to give us complete control of the city & then go next summer?!"
