Channeling Roberto Mancini there.

Great day for me yesterday with Samp winning big and Real Betis winning the Sevila derby thanks to who else, Joaquin.

Quagliarella has scored in 9 games in a row, 10 goals in total. He turns 36 this month.

11 in a row now, tied with Batistuta for the record

Its impressive but probably not even best streak in Italy at moment. Duvan Zapata has 15 goals in his last 9 games including 2 hat-tricks. He had 1 goal in the league up to then

People say Serie A is boring :crylaugh:

Juve losing too 😯

Coppa Italia.  Seems the Italians take domestic cup competitions about as seriously in the early rounds as we do.

QFs

atalanta vs juve, milan vs napoli, inter vs lazio, roma vs fiorentina, looks like they do ok, 7 of the top 8 in there (lazio are 9th) juve have won it for the last 4 years, i would say the last non big team to win it was the incredible parma team in 2001

those teams all avoiding each other until that stage sounds very italian though

edit juve team last night -

szczesny

de sciglio - rugani - chiellini - alex sandro

matuidi - betancur - khedira

bernadeshi - dybala - ronaldo

pjanic, douglas costa and cancelo came on as subs, thats about as strong as juve get

You can't always read too much into that though, a team full of stars can still put in half arsed performances. I'd seriously doubt either of those results would have happened in the league.
