Gadzooks
Carlos Cuellar is referring to Rafa Nadal (not benitez) in that Tweet !
Maradona10
Have faith, no-one actually know whats going on and i include the press in that, Hughes will never be discarded in my opinion.
Villan1957
Dion Dublin on about the umbrella man is probably the most suitable. However, he says that if Hughes were to come to Villa it would suit everybody all round. Please Dion, stop mentioning the umbrella man. Nadal 2 -1 up in first set. smetrov
Common sense would suggest its a straight fight between Hughes and Ancelotti - have a slight preference for Hughes - think he is more at our level- I dunno if Ancelotti would use us a stepping stone. I do worry that Randy liked what GH was doing - and therefore benitez might be the bloke to carry on that work. Mclaren would just be Faulkners puppet -
Rodders
well the thread needed something to get it going why a source within the betting industry would know for certain though beats me! i see that post has now been edited!

Rodders
I do worry that Randy liked what GH was doing - and therefore benitez might be the bloke to carry on that work well i think he very much wanted a roots and branches change of philosophy at the club, which GH I think was aiming to implement, the fact that the immediate impact on the field wasn't A1 fantastic doesn't mean the idea was bad. Indeed, now appoint someone with those ideas now, at the beginning of the summer, and the sorting out of players / establishing an ethos etc can be done before we even kick a ball. aidyvilla
i think randy will get this spot on, he has to or we risk slipping further back. hughes isnt the man for this, ancelotti no 1 : moyes no 2 we shouldnt settle for mediocrity (hughes) we need to make a statement of intent, appointing carlo (if he wants it) would certainly be that statement

Bazdavies79
I hope we don't get Ancelotti. I've a feeling he'll come in, neglect the youths, fill the team up with pension age Italians, play turgid football and ultimately leave the club with a big bill and a bit of a mess.
