maqroll Posted May 16, 2011 Posted May 16, 2011 I thought we could use a thread for random football topics that don't deserve their own.... ....like the fact that I just found out Millwall is owned by an American...from Boston, no less....
maqroll Posted May 16, 2011 Author Posted May 16, 2011 But Boston is in Lincolnshire. :? I actually emailed Boston United, asking them if they sold jerseys....they said they didn't have any

maqroll Posted May 16, 2011 Author Posted May 16, 2011 You might still be able to get last seasons kit? online shop Wow...I emailed them probably over a year ago now, and they had a crap website with no merchandise....clearly it was my inquiry that spurred them into action....
Shoody Posted May 16, 2011 Posted May 16, 2011 But Boston is in Lincolnshire. :? I actually emailed Boston United, asking them if they sold jerseys....they said they didn't have any  Shit, sounds familiar, doesn't it? I properly belly-lol'd at this. My first of the day.

The_Rev Posted May 17, 2011 Posted May 17, 2011 Years of hurt: (aka, how long since you last won something.) 0 Years: Manchester United - 2011 Premier League Manchester City - 2011 FA Cup Small Heath - 2011 League Cup 1 Year: Chelsea - 2010 Premier League/FA Cup 3 Years: Tottenham Hotspur - 2008 League Cup 5 Years: Liverpool - 2006 FA Cup 6 Years: Arsenal - 2005 FA Cup 9 Years: Blackburn Rovers - 2002 League Cup 15 Years: Aston Villa - 1996 League Cup 16 Years: Everton - 1995 FA Cup 31 Years: West Ham United - 1980 FA Cup Wolves - 1980 League Cup 38 Years: Sunderland - 1973 FA Cup 39 Years: Stoke City - 1972 League Cup 43 Years: West Bromwich Albion - 1968 FA Cup 53 Years: Bolton Wanderers - 1958 FA Cup 56 Years: Newcastle United - 1955 FA Cup 59 Years: Blackpool - 1953 FA Cup 79 Years: Wigan Athletic - (founded in 1932, no major honours) 132 Years: Fulham - (founded in 1879, no major honours) So, Arsenal have no right to cry over their current "drought" and despite what a Newcastle fan will tell you, the Fairs Cup (which they won in 1969) is not a major honour.
Guest Posted May 17, 2011 Posted May 17, 2011 I even forgot they won that...! More than us in recent times

Fulham won that nice statue
MrDuck Posted May 18, 2011 Posted May 18, 2011 I can't believe they don't count Fulham's 1886 Middlesex Senior Cup victory.
RunRickyRun Posted May 18, 2011 Posted May 18, 2011 A week ago, I was convinced that Blackpool's fighting spirit would prevail over Man Utd's end of season reserves and that a fired up Wigan would demolish a demoralised Stoke. Now that we're safe and the Blues are in the shit, I can't see how Wigan's woeful defence can repel the stoke aerial assault and give Holloway's side no chance against an exuberant united.
kurtsimonw Posted May 19, 2011 Posted May 19, 2011 Not sure it's been posted anywhere else, but Pirlo's contract is over with Milan and he's agreed to join Juve supposedly.
