Have 'Coptic Light' and music for violin and orchestra.

CL reminded me of the sparse incidentals at the start of the original 'Planet of the Apes', when they're in the desert.

You might like some Messiaen, try the stuff with Boulez. He's well suited.

Actually, I'd be amazed if you hadn't come across Boulez before.

I like pretty much everything I've heard by Feldman, also a few pieces by Wolff and Earl Browne, who I suppose are the obvious go to names if you like MF. I use to have a few Naxos Messiaen CDs one was solo piano, which I wasn't very keen on. The other one was orchestral I think, which i probably got out of interest in the ondes martenot, although I'm not sure what happened to those. I've also got some tape boot of 'fete Des Belles Eaux' split with 'Carnival of Souls' for some strange reason. I was thinking of getting 'Messiaen plays Messiaen'. I've come across the name Pierre Boulez before but not really listened to heaps of his stuff, I don't think.
