AngelGabriel Posted March 2, 2011 Share Posted March 2, 2011 I back the manager and the team, but if we are mounting for a top 4 challenge under Houllier (any season doesn't matter) then Gabby(since he bulked)/Petrov/Heskey are just not good enough anymore and may have to get the chop and go - Clark and Bannan have done themselves huge favours tonight. To win the FA cup anyway we would of needed Darren Bent. The League is so tight its 4 points either way, I wouldn't want to win the FA Cup and be relegated. Makoun and Bent in already, we're supposedly in for a couple of Bosman's too and will no doubts have other players lined up/targetted. Time to get rid of these players and bring in his own players. I think we'll be safe this season but will be nowhere near the bottom half next season. This season was always going to be one of assessment after the horrific way it got started. No it isn't because Gabby wasn't as heavy on the weights then - he's losing his pace by doing that and has more chance of hurting himself and is useless when it comes to his final ball lately.
