Listened to his interview on WM on the way back from the ground, he was talking about his love for the club, really nice interview.

Alan Hutton has been a shining light throughout these recent dark years. Unnecessarily bombed out by Lambert, often the scapegoat but unflinchingly loyal and never left anything but blood (other peoples) and sweat out on the pitch. If all the other players we’ve had during the time he’s been here, many with more talent than him,  had had a fraction of his heart we would never have been relegated.

His goal today would be a highlight of most players career and he thoroughly deserved it. A wonderful example of how hard work and the right attitude can get you a long way in life. Hero and legend. Thanks Alan.

Rewriting of history. He was as guilty as most that season for jogging back as we conceded another joke of a goal.

There are always more than one view to a player....but I can't argue with any of that Dave.

His professional attitude is unparalleled.

In terms of commitment & passion reminds me of Shaun Teale....and the resolve of Ghandi.

Especially in the context of the game poised at 3-2 against our bitter rivals - probably for that reason just sneaks it ahead of McGinns goal v sheff wed but both crackers to be remembered for years .

Ffs come on lads. It was a nice run and finish but Hutton's only loyalty to us is because we've been dumb enough to pay his wages for the last 7 odd years and he probably wants us to for another 2 or 3. Great goal, but let's get real.
