sidcow Posted November 25, 2018 VT Supporter Share Posted November 25, 2018 And so the transformation from scapegoat to outcast to cult hero and finally to bona-fide club legend is complete. I would offer him a new contract for next year regardless of where we are. What a goal. WHAT A GOAL!

Davkaus
If you want 34 year old Alan Hutton playing for us if we manage to get promoted to the Premier League, I don't even know what to say. I'd welcome him staying on if he's got the desire to move in to coaching, but as a player in the top flight? Absolutely not.

Popular Post Villarocker
There's many things that Hutton did today. He won over many fans with that Goal - let's face it,if that can't buy credit wtf can? Probably Villas goal of this season! He took out two players with one tackle without even getting booked - Villa's tackle of the season! That was the best celebration you will see. Scored a worldy, ran into the crowd, got booked and accepted it by pounding the Villa badge on his chest. Like I said when he scored, if De Bruyne or Silva scored that it would be played over and over again on SSN. The best thing about that goal? Sky Sports will have something else to show that's legendary from Villa v Blues encounters other than that f**k up by Enckelman!
Tomaszk
My wild celebrations were half cheering half laughing. Absolutely hilarious. Great stuff. Talk of the fanbase walking out. You'd catch snippets of conversation and they were all about him and the goal. "It was like time stood still..." "I knew today was the day he'd score in front of the holte" "...and on his left foot!"

Popular Post OutByEaster? Posted November 25, 2018 Moderator Popular Post Share Posted November 25, 2018 Inspirational figure this boy. And so, it came to pass that from that day forth, every 25th November was known as Alan Hutton day. Amen. 5 1

Popular Post DaveAV1
Alan Hutton has been a shining light throughout these recent dark years. Unnecessarily bombed out by Lambert, often the scapegoat but unflinchingly loyal and never left anything but blood (other peoples) and sweat out on the pitch. If all the other players we’ve had during the time he’s been here, many with more talent than him, had had a fraction of his heart we would never have been relegated. His goal today would be a highlight of most players career and he thoroughly deserved it. A wonderful example of how hard work and the right attitude can get you a long way in life. Hero and legend. Thanks Alan. 7
