Popular Post HanoiVillan
I know this is maudlin, but whatever . . . Took my guy into the vets yesterday because he was wheezing a little, expecting him to be given some antibiotics or something minor. Instead, they tell me they can't hear his heartbeat, take a litre of fluid out of his chest, and announce he has an inoperable tumour. I went from no concern at all to putting him down in about 4 hours. He was my best friend, and I miss him so much already. Goodbye mate.
It's Your Round
That’s terrible @HanoiVillan, I’m sorry to hear that. It’s awful losing a dog (cat), they’re much more than just a pet.

He was so well-behaved and so sweet, never any bother. Sadly, we only got him last October (he was already 9), but it feels like we were living with him forever. It goes to show that you have to make the most of your dog while you can because they only have short lives.
TheAuthority Posted November 20, 2020 VT Supporter Share Posted November 20, 2020 So sorry @HanoiVillan I tear up every time I hear someone loses their puppy. Can't imagine life without my guy. (As much as his butt stinks right now)* (and of course he has it rammed up against me.)*

KenjiOgiwara
English bulldogs seem so cool. Do people have good experiences with them?

EDIT : I got my breeds mixed up. The below is for English bull terrier, not English bulldog. Hell yes. A clown in a dog suit. Powerful yes obviously, but not in the slightest bit territorial. One of the very few breeds who actually likes new things (babies) coming into their house. The more the merrier they say. One of my 2 favourite breeds (Bassett). Popular Post Big Salad
Decided last week to adopt a Senior dog and I am going to do this from here on out as I think they are the ones that get left behind as it were the most at animal shelters. Here is Doris. She is still pretty spry to be almost 14 years old

Other than watching The Dukes of Hazzard I've no experience with them. Sorry
