Fans were comparing him to Cahill back when Cahill was on form. I'm sure those fans have now been recaptured and are safely back in the asylum.

He was an absolute abortion in our defence He was very good at start of last season and had a brilliant game at Anfield and I remember him having a good game at White Hart Lane when Kane was on fire

Not saying he is the answer but for me he is a better option than Clark in the squad and probably our 2nd best centre half now which is scary enough
Keyblade
He was actually pretty good last season when he wasn't injured. Like a completely different player.
HanoiVillan
Yes, he was. Prior to last season he was undeniably pretty poor. But he was much better last year, and is clearly playing well this year.
rjw63
So, is The Beard returning to B6 or what?
villanwesty88
According to his Wiki; "On 31 July 2015, Baker ended transfer speculation when he signed a new four-year contract with the club" So I'd have thought he will be back with 3 years remaining on his contract. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nathan_Baker_(footballer)
Jareth Posted June 30, 2016 VT Supporter Share Posted June 30, 2016 Should be cheap enough too, wasn't a high earner and now on half the wages. Keep him.

I'd sack the other 3 off and sign another given the choice. Baker is most definitely worth giving a go as 3rd or 4th choice. At the very least he will put his face on the line every week.
Qwpzxjor1
I think Okore and Baker could be a decent partnership.

dont_do_it_doug.
I think Okore and Baker would be too accident prone and lacking in leadership. As a regular starting pairing anyway.

rodders0223
He is utter crap, has been for 5 years. I want to get promoted, having dunces like this is a disaster waiting to happen. Bristol City is his level.....fighting relegation.
