villa4europe
I liked him, very composed some very nice neat touches nothing amazing His legs are tiny though, possibly thinner than youngs
AVFC-Prideofbrum
Decent for his first game, give it away a few to many times but looked comfortable with the football. He'll be a success I reckon.
kurtsimonw
Like the way he passes the ball around. Nice and easy. Noticed a few times he failed to track his man out wide though, Collins gave him a mouth full for it just before he came off. Think he'll be fine when he gets up to speed in this league though. Fortunately we've got a few players in midfield now to have the luxury of being able to ease him in.
jonno_2004
Dare I say.. World Class touches. Once he gets up to the rigours of the Prem he'll be some **** player.
AshVilla
Surprised how small he was think he would be better suited to a midfield 3 of Petrov NRC and Makoun Especially against physical sides such as Stoke
stourvilla
Needs a few games , bit of the pace tonight , but I'm confident he'll come good

R.I.C.O.
Thought he had a solid debut, nothing amazing but he did a good job.
lmarsha_926
He made 17 out of 18 passes; 4 out of 5 tackles; 5 out of 5 headers; 1 block and 1 clearance; 2 goalscoring chances
DUNTONVILLA
liked what i saw. seemed to struggle with the speed of the game a little but overall a great signing
jonno_2004
Reminds me of Xabi Alonso strangely enough, seems to have that vision to create something out of nothing, or at least play the pass that starts off a goalscoring opportunity. AVFC-Prideofbrum
Yep, from that performance, arguably could say he was off the pace because first game but he looks like more of a Petrov than a Reo-Coker. In that he doesn't really rush anything but does his job with minimum of fuss. Although for me, he plays plenty more clever passes, forward and into dangerous areas quickly than Petrov does. I thought the Partnership worked well. Was a little surprising if anything the way it worked.

Looked okay though, a little diminutive, not really the powerhouse African midfielder physique I was expecting/hoping for

I didnt find that comparison I have to say, not at least from what I saw tonight but you never know I guess
Davies4England
Good debut, as others have said he looked a bit off the pace but that will come with time. For someone who has probably had two training sessions he always seemed to know where his teammates were and instinctively read some of the runs our attackers made.
