If Foster didn't get a touch to that shot from Fonz that would have been a goal of the season contender. Fonz was class when he came on. We're not in the bottom 3 is a plus! I'm also encouraged by the fight we've shown recently. Before Chelsea every game we went behind we lost. That's two we've come back from now. Onwards and upwards. AVFC-Prideofbrum Posted January 16, 2011 Share Posted January 16, 2011 Plenty of positives. Defence, still few mistakes in there but on the whole looked far, far, far more solid. Didn't have any outstanding performers, thought everyone had a pretty decent game and played well as a team. Disappointed a little with Petrov, not sure what's happened to him last couple weeks. I can recall about 6/7 games this season where we should have picked up more points but a lack of a clinical striker costing us. We need to maintain high levels of intensity for longer periods of time, not just a few minutes. Please start the fonz and not a half-arsed Carew.
