paulanddonya
Stupidly optimistic. Can't see us losing this one, and believe we will win. I also think Young being out is a blessing in disguise. Albrighton and Downing on wings, Carew and Gabby up front - and we have the players to do it. I think 2-0 Albrighton and the now traditional Gabby goal
markavfc40
The closer it gets to kick off the more confident I am we'll win. We have the better players simple as that. Win this and it could set us up nicely for the rest of the season as it will be a nice confidence boost. I'm going for us to win by 2 clear goals. Maradona10
I have my doubts, just think we'll play well but will make errors.

AVFC-Prideofbrum
Firstly make sure we don't lose. If we don't lose, it's another point to safety at least. However a win would be absolutely huge, not just for three points but beating rivals, confidence etc..

avfcmatt123
Remember Blues played their strongest team midweek so there may be some tiredness there. We need to win this game.
markavfc40
We need to get out of the bottom 3 asap so with Man City and Man Utd making up 2 of our next 3 games, following this one, we need to win this and I'm confident we will.

I know what you are saying Nigel abot him being our best player, but arguably, of late, hes just not being doing it and I think that the way GH is going to have to line up might, rather than Ash playing behind the striker or something, could we serve us well against them. steve-67
A draw will take us out of the bottom three as it currently stands. **** that, play two up front, remind them they have the Carling Cup to think about, and go for a much needed victory. PauloBarnesi
If we lose, we're in so much trouble. We are indeed in trouble, but honestly looking at the league, and the relegation candidates come from a pretty big pool. I still think you could see a team as high up as tenth go down. Whatever happens, its going to be a massively defining moment for Houllier’s Villa career. Win and things start to look up. A draw and its a stay of execution. A loss and its looking bleak.
