AVFC-Prideofbrum
Pires will play from the left I'd guess, Young upfront next to Carew, we need some sort of pace up there. Downing on the right, Pires left? unless he's going Young, Downing flanks, Pires through centre. Downing will be on the right though I reckon. Hanky
Carew won't be fit so I'm not really expecting much there. I'd have Pires off the striker but I expect it will be Young.
R.I.C.O.
I expect absolutely nothing from this game, so its up to them to prove me wrong!
Chindie Posted November 27, 2010 VT Supporter Share Posted November 27, 2010 Pires starting doesn't fill me confidence. Nor does Carew who hasn't turned up to give a performance in quite some time. I'll stick with the limp 2-0 loss.
theunderstudy
We can win, so it's up to the lads to show it!
AVFC-Prideofbrum
Expecting a 1-3 loss :/ playing a very good team here, so there is the possibility of just being out-played and out-beaten. I hope we put in a strong show though, see what happens after that! If Carew can actually have a good day and find some form, who knows.
Lombardo
As long as we aren't hammered and come out with our decent reputation intact. I'm just worried that this Arsenal team are really up for this game and our midflied is quite open.... Carew really needs to step up to the plate today and become a Holte End hero again.
