Phumfeinz
Do you think A Young celebrating in the crowd was a sign perhaps? A sign of scoring against Manchester United late in a game at Villa Park? Yeah.
rodders129
United have beaten lots of quality teams over the last decade with last gasp comebacks...it's something they will always do with Fergie in charge. It's just belief and attitude. That is why taking 3 or 1 points from Man U is such a good result. The young Villa lads looked great today and, when the dust has settled, this performance should give them great belief and confidence. This season will be up and down and I reckon we will finish mid table, but the future is very bright at Aston Villa
bose
Bannan in a midfield 3 with a holding player to watch his ass like Gattuso did for Pirlo. He will be our Pirlo. Attempted some LOVELY through balls today. That through ball for Downing in the first half between the full back and center back was simply world class. PauloBarnesi
Credit to the manager; not Houllier’s biggest fan, but he’s winning me over. I thoroughly enjoyed that game bar the end and as last week we have seen that youth (and giving the youth the opportunity) is the future
vreitti
Gutted, so close, yet so far away. Still the overall performance was fantastic considering the amount of kids we had playing. The future is indeed looking bright. We will learn.

the_eristic
Brilliant performance, until we got 2-0 up and sat back. I have no idea why we can't keep the ball. This. You just knew, from the instant the joy from the second goal wore off, that we were going to back down and let them take control. You can't afford to do do that against any half-decent team, let alone United. Great display from the kids, though, but I'm irked with the senior defenders. Too many soft goals given up now, especially aerially.

Gingerlad
Just got in from the game, cant really pick a motm really, too many to choose. can anyone tellme if Man U shouldve had 3 red cards? Hernandez on Albrighton Nani on Warnock And Brown (i think) for the pen. I was in the north stand and it sure looked that way to me.
TheDon
Joke of a referee. I just can't believe man u finished that game with 11 men. It's a joke. The outright bias of not booking vidic for doing EXACTLY the same as young did is just too blatant. Pushed into the crowd my **** arse. Biased clearing in the woods of a referee. Who do you complain to though? When the whole **** system is bent. It's blatant and it's been going on for YEARS now. Hernandez should've been booked 1st half for kicking the ball away, so should definitely have gone. Nani - Yes should've gone. How Brown stayed on defies belief. As bad a call as Vidic in the Carling final.
