Cornwall is like that, but not Devon. It's a Celtic thing.

People don't like tourists though. I'm a Brummie who moved here over seven years ago and I don't like tourists. You only have to see the litter and general disregard for the area that a lot of tourists bring and you can understand why. Croyde beach is spotless, even considering what the sea washes up from about October until April/May, then the tourists come and litter the place up.

It's **** disgusting. I've never been into littering but some people just can't understand how **** disgusting it is. Shit-filled nappies do not belong on the beach. It only takes a few and tourists are reviled.

43 miles each way for me, its a short stint on an A road then motorway so I can easily average a mile a minute. I actually quite enjoy it.
