Mantis Posted September 17, 2010 Posted September 17, 2010 If we get our stuff right and play like we did against West Ham there's a good chance Bolton could be on the end of a 5 or 6 goal drubbing. It would be nice to be the winner in those ridiculously one-sided games for a change.
JulieB Posted September 17, 2010 Posted September 17, 2010 Somebody has to be on a Speed Awareness Course at 2.30pm tomorrow!!! Edit Add: And what normally happens when I'm not watching is we score lots of goals!!
rjw63 Posted September 17, 2010 Posted September 17, 2010 Somebody has to be on a Speed Awareness Course at 2.30pm tomorrow Couldn't ye just have a spliff?
villan-scott Posted September 17, 2010 VT Supporter Posted September 17, 2010 Gotta fancy 3 points tomorrow, but I don't think it will be as comfortable as some are making out, I'm going for a 1-0 or 2-1 win, I really can't see us losing it *touches wood*.
Mantis Posted September 17, 2010 Posted September 17, 2010 Edit Add: And what normally happens when I'm not watching is we score lots of goals!! Good, never watch us play again if you don't mind. Thanks.
nobler Posted September 17, 2010 Posted September 17, 2010 Random fact: We haven't lost at home in September since 1992
barry'sboots Posted September 17, 2010 Posted September 17, 2010 I can see a decent win. -------------- Friedel ------------------ Luke --- Carlos --- Collins --- Warnock -------- NRC --------- Stan ----------- DJ ------------- SI --------------- Ash --------------- Gab ------------------ With Bannan and Albie coming of the bench for the last 30 in an ideal world.
Qwpzxjor1 Posted September 17, 2010 Posted September 17, 2010 If they have no Jussi, Davies or Cahill then anything less than 3 points will be a disaster. I think Barry'sboot's team looks pretty decent. Random fact: We haven't lost at home in September since 1992 Aye, Opta Stats put that on Twitter yesterday. One of those facts that sounds more amazing than it really is, when you think it's only 2 games per season. But still a good fact, and one I hope doesn't end tomorrow.
carew_villa Posted September 17, 2010 Posted September 17, 2010 Likely Boilton team will be.... Bogdan Steinsson--O'Brien--Knight--Robinson Lee--Muamba--Holden--Petrov Klasnic--Elmander Elmander always scores at Villa Park. Their attack looks decent but their defence looks woeful. Ashley Young torments Steinsson everytime they come up against each other and Albrighton will run Robinson ragged. And Knight or O'Brien will not be able to handle Gabby's power and pace. Easy win I think.
carew_villa Posted September 17, 2010 Posted September 17, 2010 Oh and surely we could just get our players to shoot at goal as much as possible if we're struggling as Bogdan looks a little bit dodgy.
DiegoD Posted September 18, 2010 Posted September 18, 2010 Bolton have been playing well this season, they are a much better team then we've seen at villa park in recent years. I think we'll only draw this unfortunately.

Wankable team. Can you be manager please.

Wankable team. Can you be manager please. Perfect lineup for me. Unfortunately Kmac won't start CC unless one or both of Collins / Dunney go down. That is a sexy lineup. If SI, Ash or DJ need to come off, Albrighton on first then Bannan. For Gabby you could bring on JC if healthy or even Heskey (oops, Kmac thinks Heskey is a right or left winger also)
barry'sboots Posted September 18, 2010 Posted September 18, 2010 Wankable team. Can you be manager please. Would love to but would struggle with the pay cut!
jeckell Posted September 18, 2010 Posted September 18, 2010 -------------- Friedel ------------------ Luke --- Carlos --- Collins --- Warnock -------- NRC --------- Stan ----------- DJ ------------- SI --------------- Ash --------------- Gab ------------------ Would love to see that team, You would still get some moaning that we should play 2 up front.

You'd really need Ash to push on next to Gabby though to give Ireland more options.

Thanks. Burnley at home last year, I got asked to move my car just at the start of the 2nd half. Missed ALL four goals!!..Heard VP erupt every time!.. Gabby scoring the last just as I got back to the ground. Security at gate said.. "You've missed four goals lass!!!"....I nearly punched him!!
