Andreas Weimann

Would rather give Robinson or Sellars a chance than get Weimann back. With Weimann we know he will maybe get 10 goals a season. At least with youth, we could potentially get a really good player.

I miss him. Say what you want about his ability, but his endeavor was undoubted. If we had 11 Andi Weimann's playing every week we wouldn't be in this position.

The one at left back would be garbage though :P

Completely missed the news on him signing for Bristol City. Guess he'll replace Bobby Reid for them. Good luck to him anyway, except against us of course, although we all know they'll be the only two good games he has for them right :D

Might do o.k there, Bristol at moment seem to like picking up young players and their style of play should suit him.

Fundamentally though he hasn't improved since he broke through in 2012. Technique is still pretty mediocre and his goal scoring record is very poor. He was a decent finisher when in our reserves and also was quite good at it in that 12/13 season so baffled why he's got so bad at even not playing premier league defences anymore.

He has just over 29 league goals in nearly 215 games and 3 seasons at Championship level I think. Most he ever got in a season was 7

so bad he is now behind Ashley Barnes in Austria set-up

Wasn't it about 12 if you include goals from the Carling cup run?

I'm not saying he should get 20 + but considering it's championship he should be getting 10 + even from a wide forward position.

Just seems he's now a workhorse forward and there's no expectation for him to chip in with that many goals although Bristol will need to replace all the ones scored by Bobby Reid last season.

But when he burst onto the scene he seem such a natural finisher? Then the next season he was missing open goals

First 18 months as a first teamer he looked like had potential then we stopped creating chances and he became a workhorse who snatched at chances
