Condimentalist
Right call. Well earned - and a good inspiration for any young players getting injury set-backs so young.
GENTLEMAN
Fabian Delph is named player of the season. I fancy a Mars bar for some reason or failing that some of that dreadful Mars bar milk.

Zatman
has faded a bit with the team in recent weeks but probably deserved it just ahead of Guzan and Vlaar

Bunnski
Didn't give a monkeys tonight. He has been like that for the past month, watch him for the third goal tonight.
lexicon
It's just these past couple of games where he's not been himself unfortunately - passing uncharacteristically wayward and lacking influence. Could just be tired given how much graft he's put in this season.
Voinjama
I don't watch the club as much as others, but I would say probably deserved his player of the year. Needs to be a bit more consistent though. You had the impressive game against West Brom followed by the awful performance against West Ham in the 0-2 defeat. Brumstopdogs
Shows how poor our squad is when Delph gets our player of the season.
Voinjama
Do you not think he is technically gifted?
Brumstopdogs
I would say his main attribute is his work-rate and I wouldn't say he is that technically gifted. Do you think he is?
Voinjama
After Benteke, I would say he is the most technically gifted player in the squad. Some would argue that is not saying much though.......
lexicon
He's definitely the most comfortable on the ball player we have - he definitely is technically gifted.
Condimentalist
Not sure technically gifted is quite the right way to describe him. He's got good work rate, pace, and he can dribble , though not so much with close control so much as getting his toes on the ball when people don't expect it. His passing is limited and his shooting is inconsistent. That said, he's still a really good player, and he absolutely deserved an England call up for his form over the first few months of the season. I think he'll still improve a lot too.
