BOF Posted January 26, 2006 Moderator Posted January 26, 2006 Well after the brilliant performance by Pittsburgh (hats off to them) eliminated the Denver Broncos, and Seattle somehow stopped Delhomme & Smith in their tracks, there are 2 stories going into the Superbowl Jerome 'The Bus' Bettis goes back to his hometown of Detroit on Sunday in a fairytale story, and the Seattle Seahawks are appearing in their first ever Superbowl. Who do you think will win this one ?
Tegis Posted January 26, 2006 VT Supporter Posted January 26, 2006 Close call this one. I shall take Monday off and enjoy the game.
BOF Posted January 26, 2006 Author Moderator Posted January 26, 2006 Oops, I only noticed the Blue 42 thread now. This poll should make the numerical breakdown easier to follow !
BOF Posted January 26, 2006 Author Moderator Posted January 26, 2006 I'm on a half day Monday Tegis FWIW I have to go with the Steelers. They are incredible on the road. Anyone who can win away against the 1st, 2nd & 3rd seeds in their conference has to be the favourite in a neutral venue. Also, Roethlisberger is 16-1 on the road in his career. That's just mind-boggling. He clearly doesn't care where he plays. Also as the Seahawks are ex-AFC West, I don't want them winning it
RichardCanning Posted January 26, 2006 Posted January 26, 2006 Seahawks to have too much for them in the final third :?
villafan306 Posted January 26, 2006 Posted January 26, 2006 Steelers Well being a Steelers fan I would say that but BOf has summed it up in this post...
