Eames
I'm not a gambler either Mike. Never even bought a lottery ticket. When bacon is crispy and cooked well! Were you a monk in a previous like? Or maybe this one?
wiggyrichard
The good thing with this Mike is that for £5 you bet away for 21 days and could potentially win £100! Also you dont just have to lump on 1 bet.

Eames
To be fair Wiggy, my 3 accumulaters are massive jokes. Laugh away. Its so easy to get carried away. I have a 9 game accumulater, £50 stake...if it comes in i win £225,997!!!! Shit! Just noticed your £50 stake nets you £500k! I love this game! Just looked at both your potential winnings. I think I've played it safe....20 days to go yet Don't be a tart.... its free money. BIG **** BALLS.

Eames
Exactly. Rule number 1 of gambling is that the house ALWAYS wins in the end. If you are prepared to accept that and walk away when you do come out ahead, you'll be fine.
wiggyrichard
As long as you know when to walk away. Agreed. As Eames says also, the house is always the winner. Never bet more than your prepared to lose and never chase your losses. But a fiver for potentially 21 days of fun is great value for money imo. Also the chance of winning £100 while taking the piss out of you mates when they lose everything and donate £10 to VT *cough*Eames*cough*

Also, yep. I always set walk away points when I was betting. Rarely ever bet big amounts but when I got to about £70, I thought, if I get to £50, I'm walking away...when I got to £130, it changed to £100 etc....which is what happened, when I lost a couple bets, I then walked away (okay, didn't win anything in the end, but I didn't know that and still 'mentally' won the biggest challenge I guess)

Yes it is mate, i was just aiming at when this free trial run finishes its only £5 to buy in and play all over again...which i think is very reasonable. Would do nothing for me. £5 in my hand goes on a DVD, a CD, a book, or beer.
