rodders0223
O'Neill has preferred O'Shea(god knows why), Wilson and Keogh ahead of him and before that Trappatoni preferred St.Ledger who never let Ireland down and Dunne and O'Shea as O'Neill is clueless I expect him to not play an in form Premier League defender in Clark ahead of O'Shea and Keogh Well there is no way you would drop O'Shea for his experience, Keogh had a great game in Glasgow a few months back, the back 4 on one team in training this week has been Coleman, JOS, Clark and Wilson so you may be wrong. I fully agree that Clark should be starting by the way I would drop O'Shea on account of the fact his legs went 4 years ago, he has never been a natural centre back, and he is terrible.
sir_gary_cahill
I think he's been our player of the season this season and credit to him, he really is turning into a class act now, it's taken him a long time to mature but I think he has now

JOS has never been poor for ireland, always puts in a good shift, most players that put on that red and white of sunderland end up looking a poor player. Dirtysanchez
I would have Clark and Wilson together. After what Gabby did to O'Shea I dread what Milik and Lewandowski will do to him Wilson! Would you give over, it will be JOS and one from Keogh or Clark, Wilson may start LB.

AVTuco Posted April 7, 2015 VT Supporter Share Posted April 7, 2015 Not your best game Ciaran, but you've done so well I forgive you. Our left backs are so hopeless I'd stick you, or Baker, there for the rest of the season.

momo
Typical Clark game when paired with Vlaar. Bring back Okore.
BigCarew
Mis-timed almost every jump tonight. Looked nervous, as said, bring back Okore.
VillaChris
I thought he was good again. The problem is him and Vlaar together just dosen't look as rock solid as Okore Clark has in spells.

Bunnski
I was kinda glad that he went off as him and Vlaar don't work well as a pair. I'd still have him as first choice over Vlaar for the future though.
VillaChris
Guarenteed he didn't get a two match ban at least.
KSV
Guarenteed he didn't get a two match ban at least. Could be out for a few matches with injury though. What's the latest on him?
Villa87
Seriously hope it's nothing major. Our player of the season so far.
DCJonah
Looked like his knee which might keep him out more than just a tweaked muscle.
VillanousOne
Baker did well when he came on but i wouldn't have played him ahead of Okore. hope Clark isn't out for the Plop game.
Didiersix
Looks like medial ligament damage in his knee. Sherwood said afterwards it is unlikely he will be fit for Wembley. Gabby tweaked a hamstring too, so he is an extreme doubt too.
VillaChris
Yes Sherwood on TS just said it's knee ligament injury so looks like that's a couple of weeks job I'm afraid. Three at the back at Wembley anyone?
