Anybody that doesn't take the billions is a mug!

Anyone who criticises people for not making money the sole purpose of life is a mug...

He looked good against Brentford. His touch and weight of pass is still top notch, that alone can get you very far

But that’s the issue for me, Pep buys the best players because (obviously) their weight of pass and first touch are insane, but he doesn’t really need any other attributes going forward….

its like Pep buying Wagu cows cutting out the whole fillet and throwing the whole cow away. Sure you’re going to make a wonderful Michelin Beef Wellington but that’s the only thing on his menu.

Jack was a dynamic player who would dribble past players and score and assist some wonderful goals, he hasn’t done that at city from memory, I cannot even remember one goal like that.

Id dread to think what Pep would have done if he bought George Best back in the day.

He might have made him the most successful player in British history.

That would require hiding his shagging tbf.

I'm just presuming here but I think Jack by the looks of it has free reign to do whatever he wants.

At the expense of his creativity.

well it's either stick around or get a job. footballers are well looked after these days with advisors giving them investment opportunities etc to make sure they don't squander all their earnings

Yeah, Jack and the others won’t go broke but a lot of footballers wives leave them (along with half of everything) when they retire.

Just look at Mason Greenwood's missus.

Self respect, or a lazy millionaire lifestyle?

Listened to his presser, deluded and entitled and definitely doesn't fit into our club or culture...

Just somebody that I used to know

I love it when two guys from such different backgrounds can come together and Be As One.

Ooooh that's a niche one. And to think I'd only just mentioned Xpander in off-topic last week.

Matty Cash did a 30 min interview with polish TV (type in Borek Matty Cash in youtube if you want to watch, it's in English) and his answer for not getting picked for the national team was ''I need to work harder, get better, there are excellent players, I need to show my hard work''.

A much more humble and respectful view than ''I should have been picked''.
