Could it even be brinkmanship between Jacks agent  and the club. Us saying we will not let you transfer to Man City unless you put in a transfer request as we are not going to pay you amy kind of contract payoff.

Maybe Sawaris has told him bollox and you arent going anywhere after publicly committing to another 5 years . We have seen the smiling side of him. Maybe Jack has seen the other side .

Loads of things could be going on and these 2 above could possibly be them. Will all come out in the wash in the coming weeks and months i guess

Could just be that he was always staying and they've just been hashing out the contract, that we've known has been on the table since before the Euros.

Btw just stalking Jack’s Insta, as you do… that Josh Denzel from Love Island must be the reigning multiple undisputed world and Olympic champion of shameless bumlicking. Is there a celebrity crack he can’t wriggle his way into

It's cringe ain't it

So does anyone on here actually think he’s staying?

Yes, unless he's bought into the cult of Pep he's staying.

Can't see him going to win a few empty titles with Citeh.

If he thinks Pep can bring him to best player in the world territory then maybe.

I’d love to see Pep go to a team where he doesn’t have limitless funds at his disposal to build his FM dream team. He’s a fantastic manager, but he is also able to throw money at the squad to change it drastically over a very short space of time so that they play the way he wants.

Fully agree. He's close to breaking a Billion spend. It's beyond ridiculous.

Honestly can't see Jack going unless Pep has him convinced he'll get him the Ballon d'Or.

He really isn't. He's a pop star whom they used once for some promotional material.

He teased Bailey‘s introduction before it happened. He may not know about this, but he definitely has more access to information than the random Twitter bloke

I really do hope it is resolved tomorrow one way or the other and this doesn't drag on until later in the week.

If it means him staying at the club, I could careless if this drags on until the end of the transfer window.

Pep makes no bones about it....you have to have the best players.

His stock allows him to take the jobs at clubs with huge financial resource, so the synergy rolls on.

The "cult of pep" would have him winning trophies, playing with the best players in the world, playing with his idol KDB, nailed on in the England squad, and paid 200 grand a week.

People can pretend Pep isn't a good manager all they want, it won't change the fact that players will want to play for the best teams in the world. And there's no better team or manager in this country right now than Man City and Guardiola

How can anyone be sure Pep himself stays......He could get the pull to go back home.
