Should FIFA bring in goal line technology? It seems it is something as simple as a microchip inserted into the ball, but where does it stop? The problem for me is that where camera's are used in tennis or rugby there is a natural break in the game which simply doesn't occur in football. I also to a degree agree that controversy is part of the game. The biggest thing for me though is that if they bring in goal line technology it will prove to be the tip of the iceberg and more will follow which will destory the flow of the game. Rugby - setting up scrums, line outs, conversions etc Tennis, point for point yes Football has pauses, but we moan when its not free flowing. what about 2 referees like in Basketball? No it wouldn't, 30 seconds max to make a decision or in the case of the Lampard goal 10 seconds. The fecking moaning and whining from players takes up more time than that.
