This is reviewing surprisingly well...

DC Universe's second big release after Titans, which was... divisive, this seems to have been pretty well liked.

I thought Titans was really good fun and much better (And darker) than I anticipated.

I might try it one day, but I was really put off by the SDCC trailer, which made it look horrific. Bad teen edgy atmosphere, seemed to have a budget of whatever they could scrimp from down the back of Warner Bros sofa, and the '**** Batman' moment, shudder.

Plus I literally don't like any of the Titans characters.

I’ve started “The Assassination of Gianni Versace”, the next installment in the American Crime Story series (following “The People vs OJ Simpson”)

This seems pretty good again so far. The OJ one was a superb show, so hoping for more of the same from this. Going to have a good binge this weekend.

Yes, good choice - I highly recommend that one.

Umbrella Academy got better and better with some surprising points along the way:

Spoiler

Vanya slicing Alison’s throat... shocked at that

Spoiler

I’m just hoping they don’t overplay the use of time travel in future series as it can get a bit samey then, especially if you think they are indestructible as they’ll just go back in time

I know very little about the Doom Patrol, other than that they are a group of really shit heroes that have mostly fought really bizarre threats, and Grant Morrison had the most lauded run on it (and given he specialises in weird, probably not too surprising). Cyborg to my knowledge has nothing to do with them but DC love shoehorning him in wherever they can.

I thought this looked awful when the first pictures came out during filming but it looks... alright in all honesty here. Don't think it has an official release anywhere outside the US yet but I'd wager it'll turn up on Netflix or the like soon enough. And looks like it might be fun.

Looks good and I'll probably give it a watch if it becomes available on Netflix/Amazon, especially as Alan Tudyk is the villain as he's always good. However, I didn't recognise Brendan Fraser at first.

I'd recommend Titans, I'm only 9 episodes in but I'm enjoying it more than I thought I would. Definitely more akin to some of the Marvel Netflix shows in that it's dark, violent and deals with some very adult storylines than what I've seen of the other recent DC shows (which made me want to turn them off immediately).

Spoiler

The Titans Doom Patrol crossover episodes where enjoyable and made me want to look into these characters having known very little about them.

Well you say that but it’s actually a lot of evidence there, people from his own setup saw him having sexual interactions with various minors including Aaliyah. Someone a

so admitted to forging Aaliyah’s age when they got married.

The juriers can argue they have never seen it. The first trial was a joke. Complete and utter corruption. I don’t think he will get off this time when you consider all th3 scandals going on in Hollywood. This one just looks blatant to me.

I personally don't need persuading that there is a fairly overwhelming amount of evidence suggesting wrongdoing on his part. The question is whether there is enough evidence of any number of particular incidents to secure a criminal conviction, which is another question.

Well when you consider how many women are coming forward, the video evidence, witnesses. He hasnt got a chance in helm of escaping this time.

I very much hope you're right!

If he gets off there will be huge uproar.

He is getting ruined financially as a lot of companies are dropping his music and some artists have apologised at working with him.

Turns out this is a big ole slice of not very good.

The joke wore thin very quickly and it ran out of ideas soon thereafter. Very disappointed given the team behind it (Waititi/Clement).

New Partridge series was as superb as I expected. Easily one of the greatest comedy creations of all time.

I was really, really disappointed with it. Good pisstake of The One Show, crap Partridge though. Not a patch on the brilliant Mid Morning Matters which is spot on all of the time. The set up for this is all wrong in my opinion, and didn’t work.

Obviously some great lines like the Fluck/Clunt guest, but it needs more than just one or two headline grabbers like that to work.
