wazzap24 Posted May 11, 2018 Share Posted May 11, 2018 (edited) The Crossing on Amazon is holding up by virtue of a really intriguing story. It's being let down slightly by the dodgy 'B-Movie' acting from some of the characters though. There are no special effects or massive production value so it's a bit of a struggle to see where they spent the budget. Apart from the cheap feel, it's quite good. I love it as well, but I think the last couple of seasons haven’t been as good as the first few. If Samberg (perolta) is clever he’d finish after the next season on a high. I don’t want it one of those programmes that overstays it’s welcome. They should take note from British comedians who more often than not end a series at the right stage. Ingram85 Posted May 13, 2018 Share Posted May 13, 2018 Episodes A weird show that is equal parts brilliant and funny and then mind numbingly boring and cliched from one scene to the next. First series as a whole was consistently fantastic, even 2 was great as well but series 3 took a nose dive and just became an average show with a few laughs. Just got 4 and 5 left to watch now. I love it but it’s a bit like californication in the sense that it’s still better than most things but after a strong beginning it drops off.
