Yeah it was but I guess he had to as he would have lost face if he didnt as the lad killed his guy. Ciro torturing that girl shocked me the most. We was led to believe he was the 'good guy'. As a huge Mads Mikkelsen fan i'm now pretty disgusted with myself for not getting around to it sooner as it's rather splendid. Both series of Hannibal are excellent IMO - Mikkelsen is arguably the best Lecter on screen. Really looking forward to the 3rd series! Started watching Hannibal on this recommendation. So glad I did.
