Folski Posted May 26, 2010 Posted May 26, 2010 Basically I the last few years I've been watching lots of shows, but now all of a sudden I feel as if all great dramas as drying up Sopranos, the wire, Lost even 24. Can anyone reccomend a good series to get into? I'm off work as my appendix burst recently and bed ridden so have a lot of time to kill! Any suggestions welcome! UTV
JulieB Posted May 26, 2010 Posted May 26, 2010 The Good wife Remake of V Cold Case Not forgetting a bit of trash TV to make you feel a bit better: Junior Apprentice Record Britain's Got Talent - so you can fast forward all the embarassing bits! BTW- Hope you feel better soon burst appendix sounds horrid!
rjw63 Posted May 26, 2010 Posted May 26, 2010 ^^ treme is a grower, I like it. Fringe is good, there are 2 whole seasons of that "out there" Also Lie To Me, Warehouse 13 and Big Love
rjw63 Posted May 26, 2010 Posted May 26, 2010 What's Treme about? New Orleans, post Katrina John Goodman is excellent in it 1

usvilla Posted May 26, 2010 Posted May 26, 2010 if your into travel & food Anthony Bourdain is well worth a look - different attitude for a host and not your usual travel spots either "no reservations" is the show
DiegoD Posted May 27, 2010 Posted May 27, 2010 if you are looking for dramas: Mad Men Breaking Bad House (a much improved show this season) Comedies: 30 Rock The Office It's Always Sunny Has anyone watched Modern Family yet? heard it was meant to be good.
kurtsimonw Posted May 27, 2010 Posted May 27, 2010 I second 30 Rock. Only just got into it myself, but I think it's superb.

Modern Family is superb. Look out for Parks and Recreation and Community online. All cracking sitcoms. 30 Rock - All episodes Modern Family complete season 1 Community complete season 1 Its always sunny in Philadelphia - All episodes Parks and Rec seasons 1 and 2
briggaman Posted May 27, 2010 Posted May 27, 2010 Another nod for Mad Men here. Each series of it thus far has been excellent! I also agree with Fringe. If you want something funny aswell then check out Californication.

I'll give these all a look after June 19th (uni exams get over), need to find something to replace How I Met Your Mother which has been so poor this year.
