Anyone watching "the footballers football show" on skysports1?

Ray wilkins, Glenn hoddle and some CEO.word removed from qpr discussing football, so far the best quotes from hoddle

"You look back to when coventry had the artificial slide on/off pitch, had a London team had those facilities it would have been a success"

"When your on London, you need a 40k stadium because of the amount of away fans who want to come to the ground"

We spent more than £16.5m.

How do you (or they) know?

Well not many know for sure, but if the reported fees are anything to go by (and that's all we can go by) we spent more than that.

We spent a definite £10m on Vlaar and Benteke alone. I doubt the other 5 cost a mere combined £6.5m

Someone posted this on their website in the comments section. Under rated LOOOOOOL

I am a Villa fan here in Newcastle and am thrilled with this signing. Moreover my old Villa mates back in the UK all reckon he copped flak unfairly. He was under rated by the press and most punters but tellingly his various managers and team mates knew his value all too well. Welcome to Newcastle Emile, can't wait to see you play mate.

Tommy's struggled with injuries recently, and he's played less than 20 games since the end of 2009. I'd certainly have him back on the right money (and if Everton can afford him I'd guess we can too) but at the same time he'd clearly still be a gamble and, at 30, Lambert would probably see signing him as detrimental to our younger players, if indeed he's been considered. I'm sure he'd be warmly welcomed back by the fans, though!
