veloman
NOW we are in with a chance ! Convincing win over Notts and one game to go; the County Championship is in our own hands. Last match - Hampshire who will be fighting to stay up, so between us and the bread-stealers (lancs) now I think. Weather could play a big part though. jimbojames
Excellent stuff. Bottom of the table Hampshire on last day of the season although hopefully they should do us a favour today, its the bears' to lose I think.

tonyh29
In the only match that matters surely only the weather can stop the mighty Surrey in their promotion bid now ...
dAVe80
Hampshire 133/2. Lancs 341/6. Durham 181/3 in their second innings (Well done Pears!). This is going to be very tense.
bully
Every bonus point counts as it looks likely draws all around unless an innings collapses somewhere. Warks might have balls'd it up in the first innings of the last 2 matches with slow run rate. Come on you Bearssssssssssssssss!!
dAVe80
Bears currently tied with Lancs in the Championship, if they go on to have the same result, but Lancs will take the title on head to head results. Aaarrrrgggghhhhh! This is doing my head in!!
holtelower
Lancs are going to win - thats a cert. No chance of a weather interuption tomorrow. It is therefore al down to us bowling them out for 169 or less Which I just cant see happening. Lose the title on last day of the season - gutted !! tonyh29
It is therefore al down to us bowling them out for 169 or less Warwicks still have to bat again and there is a full day tomorrow .. still a bit early to throw in the towel isn't it ? Go on the Surrey :-)
Rodders
the bears just need to win the game and they have all tomorrow to do so - get a couple of wickets in the next half hour, bowl them out with no more than a hundred to chase tomorrow and bob's your uncle. Somerset have Hildreth in and getting set so no need to write them off just yet either. Worcester finally staying up for a consecutive season in div 1 feels like we've yoyoed a bit! Though yesterday did our best to chuck it from 255/3 to 288 ao! 37/0 off 4 overs in the second innings suggests they've relaxed and know they're safe now! ( plus durham can't win either so they may be a bit down in the dumps )
Rodders
and what do you know, hampshire 28/3 already, that is a beaten team there! edit: close of play 43/3.
