Due to be raining throughout the day tomorrow, so we're effectively in to one day (and not a great forecast) to take 8 wickets.

Tough but a good effort to get here.

Burns looks like he's there until he really falls out of form, no?

Turned out to be pretty run of the mill today.

Yeah, cold, windy, Windies leaving to go home tomorrow and not much chance of them really saving the game. Not much of a surprise.

Woakes didn't do very well did he. Selectors must drop him and bring in someone from a Southern County. In my time following cricket, this has always been an important qualification !!!!

Weather permitting, going to Warks on Sunday - Bob Willis Trophy - v. Northants. My mate down to day and said it was a rather weird atmosphere . Batsmen retiring to give others a bat. Lots of social distancing etc. (Sir) Ian Bell got a decent score😀

Or a good one as he had a point to prove.

The last 18 months or so his bowling average for England has been around 20.

Should never be dropped when performing like that IMO

Should not have thrown the captains armband to Ali, just going to further ruin his confidence.

Bit of an embarrassing defeat on the cards here, obviously a weakened team with the test guys excluded, but still.

Don't look like taking a wicket.

No credit to the opposition then ?

Couple of great innings for sure but the bowling and fielding was pretty average at best in the main.

A full England side with an appropriate captain on the pitch does not lose that game.

Seriously, stop organising test cricket in Manchester.  Nowhere else is raining.  Happened last time too.

Lol, Root bringing himself on after lunch was a shocking decision. Took all the pressure off Pakistan
