veloman
Yep, great result for England and another great result is possible for The Bears against Wankashire - excellent performance from Neil Carter to put us in a strong position. Agreed about the 'youth' of the Engalnd squad and there is another player who appears to have great class - James Taylor of Leicestershire. I think I heard Warks have made enquiries about 'buying-up' his contract; reckon he would be a great acquisition. It may enhance his England propects moving from bottom of 2nd Divison to top 3 of the 1st.
Jezza
Great game and result - need to finish them off at the true home of cricket - Edgbaston(!!!). At least India have an upcomong tour of Australia to rebuild their shattered confidence!!!!

Milfner
Currently 181-6, Troughton just went for 49. Hopefully we can get to 250 at least.
veloman
Ah ! I didnt realise they had dodgy pitches there, so take your point. However, I wonder if they will have 8 points deducted for it - like we did
Milfner
280 all out, Woakes with 60. What a player he's going to be and a Villa fan Just seen that Lancashire had 40 extras, with 28 no balls.

However, I wonder if they will have 8 points deducted for it - like we did  Completely different - Warks were fined for a badly prepared pitch, the liverpool pitch is a results pitch. That's the advantage a home team are allowed - I didn't mean to infer underhand methods - 'dodgy' probably an incorrect choice. "Another 'lively' pitch" would have been more approproate. blandy Posted August 2, 2011 Moderator Share Posted August 2, 2011 Conditions up here as well would have played a part - warm, humid - great for bowling, not for batting.
Milfner
Bears 108-4 and need another 180-odd. Looks like a draw or possible Lancs win.
pooligan
Bears need rain, no chance of winning but i can see them collapsing to Keedy like they did at Edgbaston.

Milfner
5 down. Need 94 to win, not sure how long is left in the game. No more than 15 overs I'd imagine.
