Morgan is only playing for us as he'll never be able to represent Ireland at the highest level, and the same for Kieswetter.

Yeah you're right, Kieswetter will never get to represent Ireland. Poor chap.

The way you've worded that about Morgan it sounds like England are his plan B because he's not good enough for the Ireland team...

Morgan chose to play for England over Ireland because he knew he deserved more than Ireland could offer him.

Unfortunately this is a major problem Ireland have, that whenever they have any really good players come through, they choose to play for England, first Ed Joyce, now Morgan. And now Ed Joyce is nowhere.

If England bat first I predict:

End of Day One: England c.360/3

End of Day Two: England c.550-580ao + Bangladesh 95/2

End of Day Three: Bangladesh 270ao + 50/3

End of Day Four Bangladesh ao c.250

Bangladesh bat first:

End of Day One: Bangladesh 180 ao + England 60/0

End of Day Two England 471/5

End of Day Three: England 600/8 dec + Bangladesh 100/6

Before Lunch Day Four: Bangladesh 181ao

Either way big win.

Aggers talk about a second tier of test matches to get more strength. Sounds good to me, get bangladesh, ireland holland etc all having competitive tests against each other would surely be preferably than being smashed all the time.

Every team has a KP, gets out cheaply loads of times then one game (no matter who it is against) they will just destroy a team and get a 100 in no time.

It's the way he plays and will always play. He can hit great balls for 6 and 4. It's the nature of the beast.

Trott is holding up an end anyway and progressing nicely.

Was he out playing an attacking shot? or playing something half arsed?

"1529: WICKET Pietersen b Shakib 18, Eng 227-3

What the... tempting looper onto off, and KP tries to marmalise it into next year - misses by a mile, and his off-peg leans back at a shocked angle. Waste - what a waste..."

BBC thingy
