Rodders
Ultimately another good day though nervy times on the way it seems! Good lead now so fingers crossed we can't lose from here Putting aside the question of where was this earlier what a great knock from Cook.
snowychap
Yep. It's a shame that it has had to wait until after the urn was gone but still they must get credit for a very good performance so far - especially after the start the aussies had to their innings on what looked a very flat pitch.
Rodders
Absolutely. Given the record of two 5-0s in 3 tours it's a credit we are looking like we ought to gain some respectability to the score, and a Broad 50 to boot. See if they can last another 30 minutes tomorrow then declare if Jimmy has survived? If the pitch still doesn't have many demons in, a lead closer to 200 would be really ideal, but I think we're in a good enough position to force the win as it is.

OutByEaster? Posted December 29, 2017 Moderator Share Posted December 29, 2017 A bit of rain and not a lot happening for the England bowlers - I have a feeling this one is pushing towards a draw.

A draw seems likely, but there's still a chance of a win. Bowlers need to be on fire, and the fielders need to hold on to every chance that comes their way though. Rodders
nonsense it seems. Frustrating day, but if we can get out warner and smith plus an other before lunch we'll still have a chance. Need to nail it in the morning.

Rodders
Meh. Draw it is barring a miracle spell before lunch. Mo out for the next test and he can't complain. Maybe it's the finger injury but either way he's been desperately disappointing.
snowychap
I've just had 50p on Australia at 80/1. Edited December 30, 2017 by snowychap
OutByEaster? Posted December 30, 2017 Moderator Share Posted December 30, 2017 Root takes Warner! I'm still pretty sure England will not bat again in this test.

It was like the inverse of the OBE curse. Bizarrely, though, I was still offered a profit on the cash out after the catch had been taken. MrDuck
Wow, I never would have guessed that Stoneman would start well, look great, and then be out in the 20s...

VILLAMARV
Root could do with a century. Good 100 partnership with Malan here.
Rodders
yep, need to convert this one. If this is going to be a spinners pitch, I'd rather fancy Lyon to have far more joy than Ali and Crane -really need to go as big as possible. Obviously. Rodders
Thanks Joe. Another trap- 5 minutes to go and out. So good for so long, but he doesn't finish the job. yet again. here you go australia, have a end of day booster, feel confident for tomorrow with the new ball, what a gift.
