The 500 kg bronze statue of Zlatan Ibrahimovic was today unveiled outside the Stadium in his home town Malmö.

A visibly moved Zlatan was on hand for the occasion.

Really cool tribute to an amazing player, well deserved.

Not sure on the exact details but the sculptor Peter Linde does many of his works like that. As in nude or in underwear.

Initially the statue was going to be the bicycle kick against England but Zlatan wanted a goal celebration instead.

It was also initially going to be outside the national stadium in Solna and not in Malmö but the Swedish FA that commissioned the piece rightly changed their minds as it wouldn't have been left alone in AIK country.

Goal and assist but L.A Galaxy still crash out of the MLS play off in the derby against L.A FC 3-5

Was this his last career game?

I kinda hope he moves to Europe and plays until the summer and potentially another season.

Just hope he doesn't stay in the MLS.

Isn't there talk of him going back to Inter?

MLS-boss Don Garber might have gone and done a boo-boo claiming in an interview with ESPN that Zlatan has signed for a.C Milan, wishing him good luck and hoping he'll return once his contract in Italy is up,

Could of course be misinformed or yet another shameless publicity stunt but A.C Milan has always been the most likely destination for him to return to so there might be something in it.

Not sure this was how it was intended to be revealed thou.

If he moves there it's because he and his family knows and loves the city of Milan.

As for Zlatan he also very much likes A.C Milan and has friends at the club if not in the squad.

It'll be for social reasons rather than him thinking he can win stuff there, he won't.

Milan is a changed club though, longest serving player is Bonaventura who signed after Zlatan left. None of the coaches will probably be there in a few months either even if he knows them
