largelugs
Excellent, thanks mate Just checked. Trains are 1004 and 1104 from Bescot to Witton, 13 min journey. 1426 out of Witton back, 14 min journey. Aston is 3 mins different. There are no additional "Football Specials" on Sunday btw. The London Midland website says there is!

coda
Famous last words but they'll be so many police in Aston and the city centre I can't see much trouble happening. I've heard it can kick off in the suburbs in the evening when dickheads have a few hours drinking behind them.

No, don't think so, the work is on the track in the south of the city so the new street to villa stretch should still be by train, i hope!
sellyoakvilla
Selly Oak onwards is fine, it's from Kings Norton to Redditch that the trains stop but the replacement buses go from Selly Oak to Redditch. North Birmingham is fine from Selly Oak onwards.
